Our client is a successful High Tech company with a Corporate HQ in Geneva. They operate in 30 countries across the Globe and experienced a fast growth during the last 10 years.
The Group has been recently acquired by a US-listed organization and the Integration Process is on-going.
Given this critical context, we are looking for an Interim Group Accounting Manager to support the CFO along this project.
Ensures an accurate and timely monthly close so that all financial reporting deadlines and control policies are met.
Oversees outsourced accounting firms, as required, to ensure deliverables are consistent with Group policies.
Reviews and approves accounting entries, reconciliations and analyses.
Liaises with the Group HQ to discuss and resolve Gaap accounting implications related to accounting transactions, business developments, entity financial conditions, policy and procedures.
Participates in Controllership change processes, providing feedback and comments, and ccommunicates changes to local entities.
Assists in the incorporation or restructuring and operation set up of new entities and the liquidation of redundant entities.
Applies accounting judgment when reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, contracts, new accounting pronouncements, and account analyses.
Reviews contracts to ensure compliance with Group policies and identify accounting implications; provides value-added feedback to legal or other departments.
Manages internal and external audits; works with auditors to ensure a timely year-end audit.
Manages the preparation of external reports, including filings, ensuring an accurate and timely completion.
Manages, coaches & develops a team of 6 people located in Geneva/USA.
Collaborates closely with all Group finance sub-departments: Tax, Controlling, Consolidation, Reporting, and Internal Audit & Compliance.
Participates in Policy alignments and IT system improvements along the Integration process.

Must have a bachelor's degree.
Relevant accounting and management experience (preferably in a large multi-national company with multiple entities accounting management).
Expert knowledge of local reporting requirements.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of a major financial system.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, analytic skills, and attention to details.
