Our client is an upper class real estate company based in Zurich. Their local team is responsible for properties in first-class locations, predominantly in the economic zones in Zurich, Geneva and Lausanne.

Your tasks:



Review the quarterly accounts / financial statements (including review of the notes) in IFRS / Swiss GAAP (approximately 20 legal entities)Support and coordinate the quarter and year-end closing process (accuracy and completeness) in a timely fashionSupport in liaison with any investor's questionsPrepare and support the preparation of the quarterly board packsPrepare budget and financial forecast and variance reports

Coordinate the audit process

Monitor / ensure adherence to proper internal controls and procedures (expense approval, payments ? etc.)Maintain follow-up sheets and support in the oversee of all tax and regulatory / compliance issuesResearch technical accounting issues for complianceAdministrative tasks such as support in the review of legal or corporate documents and follow-upAny ad-hoc projects and additional controller duties as necessary

Your profile:



Full time employment reporting to the CFOQualification: university degree in Accounting/Finance/Controlling or further education in Accounting (Fachausweis).1-3 years of experience in a financial position (ideally as controller or from an audit background)Hands-on, detail/task oriented, being used to work accurately under tight deadlinesStrong financial analytic skills as well as knowledge of IFRS and local Swiss GAAPAny previous experience as a real estate controller is a plusGood excel (pivot & formulas) and IT skillsFluent in spoken and written English and German (or French) is necessary
