Our client is a leading pharmaceutical global player expanding their operations in Europe and Middle East from their Geneva base.

We are currently recruiting a Finance & Business Planning Analyst.

Reporting to the Regional Finance & Business Planning Manager, the selected candidate will be in charge of the following tasks and responsibilities:

- Performs monthly reporting of actual results vs. target / latest forecast and reports on significant variances in conjunction with local finance leaders and the HQ senior team,

- Performs all analytics and planning tasks related to the European business including financial performance monitoring, new business opportunities modelling,

- Supports Functions Regional Leaders as a Finance partner to produce and enhance key metrics,

- Defines key business drivers which impact the profitability of the business in the region,

- Provides value-based business partnering to the Regional Leadership Team,

- Participates to month-end close and reporting activities with the Accounting Team,

- Participates to the annual budgeting and forecasting planning process for each function / geography including Operating Expense and Capital Expenditure,

- Improves the quality of financial tools, reporting and database structure.

This role is an unique opportunity to develop an in-depth understanding of key business drivers and to gain exposure to the Senior Management Team of the company.

- University degree, ACA/CIMA qualification completed or on-going,

- 3+ years of relevant experience in a financial planning and analysis role,

- Experience with Commercial Finance and/or FP&A a must,

- Strong organizational and analytical skills are must,

- Demonstrated track record of working under tight deadlines, ability to work with a limited supervision,

- Excellent interpersonal: team player / "can-do" attitude and ability to interact at all level of the hierarchy),

- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills,

- Familiar with financial software SAP, BPC/Hyperion and proficiency in spreadsheet/workbook are required,

- Experience in pharmaceuticals industry a clear asset.
