Our client is a leading FMCG company with an international HQ in Geneva.

Responsibility for the timely completion and improvement of analysis of Foreign Exchange related P&L line items with the aim of understanding processes and reducing issues in the quarter close. The information collated as part of this review will also be included in the Net Income Deck which is a key deliverable to the Corporate Controller and CFO. The individual will be responsible for completing the review every month.

This will require close liaison with a number of other implicated departments, primarily Global Treasury.

Responsibility for the monthly analytical review of the IFRS P&L from Net Sales to OCC to determine accounting accuracy. Involves close cooperation with FP&A (both corporate and market) to understand and explain the variances against prior year for items impacting Net Sales, COGS and SG&A expense on the IFRS P&L.

Individual will be the main corporate accounting contact for Global Treasury and as such will review monthly/quarterly treasury presentation prepared, highlighting key points for discussion with the Financial Reporting Manager and ultimately the Corporate Controller and responsible for the follow up of any questions or issues arising.


Quarterly close. Facilitate a comprehensive review to develop understanding of the entities performance and balance sheet while proactively managing any potential adjustments.

As part of the improvement of the review of the balance sheet, the individual will be responsible for the development and timely completion of analysis of specific balance sheet captions (AR, VAT, restructuring and other accounts) with the aim of understanding (and improving) local processes and to reduce issues in the quarter close. This will require close liaison with a number of other implicated departments such as credit control, Global Supply Chain and indirect tax. This will also imply contributing to the improvement of our understanding of specific "Other" items the month prior the quarter.

Individual will be the main corporate accounting contact for GLP and as such will review quarterly leaf presentation prepared, highlighting key points for discussion with the Financial Reporting Manager and ultimately the Corporate Controller and responsible for the follow up of any questions or issues arising.


Assist the Financial Reporting Manager in ad-hoc review projects. The individual will be responsible for collecting data (requiring close collaboration with a range of other departments at a corporate as well as a market/entity level) and compiling into a format suitable for the target audience. The individual will also be responsible for presenting those findings to the target audience (consolidation and reporting director, corporate controller, auditors etc.)

Exciting international exposure within a leading consumer brand

Technical finance & Accounting

University degree, Chartered / Certified Accountant.

Public accounting and some post-qualification experience in the industry.

Fluent in English. Strong Excel skills is a must.

Knowledge of SAP is preferable.

Ability to interact at all level of hierarchy.

Ability to develop further in another role.
