It business analyst for hr system - hr business intelligence

My client, an international company, is currently looking for a new IT Business Analyst who will join their Geneva based HR team and will report to the HR Director.

Business Analysis:

Provide and maintain complex, non-routine analytical, technical and operational support for the HR analytics/system.

Implement the HR Business intelligence through the design and development of reports and dashboards by leveraging data from various sources (linking personnel to business and financial performance metrics), and working across the finance and IT departments.Generation of reports and analysis of data (personnel, cost, performance) which will be used to support the business in decisions, initiatives and projects.Work with HR and IT infrastructure to recommend and build automated solutions to remedy operational inefficiencies.Support and provide creative solutions in the view of the digitalization and accessibility of HR data.Lead strategic projects in relation to data and process improvement that have an IT orientation with a strong focus on improving the integrity and accuracy of HR data







Standards, Policies and Processes:

Ensure all work is performed within the established IT standards, processes and methods of my client.Ensure that HR and Share Plan systems are supported in accordance with the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and work closely with the Global Helpdesk and applications support for the provision of 1st and 2nd level support, where BA mainly provides 3rd level support oversight.

Learn about my client's global business, and follow it, as it adapts to market conditions, and evolves to meet competitive challenges.Keep abreast of the new developments in the ICT industry; in particular on HR Systems.

International environment

IT with both BA and BI roles for HR department. IT profile only!

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Formal education at University or equivalent level of certification and experience.Minimum 5 years of previous relevant professional experience, two of which in a similar role.Ability to exercise flexibility, demonstrate initiative to ensure the business support needs are met in a proactive manner.

Good interpersonal skills, especially communication, able to communicate technical solutions to non-technical users, in a multi cultured working environment and able to cope in difficult/conflict situations in a serviced oriented manner.Highly organized and possess problem solving skills.Be self-motivated and creative.Fluent in English (spoken and written).Advanced knowledge of Support/database systems and processes.Very strong technical skills (ideally coupled with Business Intelligence) and an understanding of customer's needs so that they can be transformed into application and operational requirements.Discrete and ability to distinguish confidential information from public.







Desirable Skills and Experience:

Other languages in addition to English will be useful but not mandatory, e.g. French.Business Intelligence tool(s) reports generation and data mining / analysis concepts.Past experience in an analyst/developer role.Technical knowledge of applications and database design/development techniques, with experience using SQL to query and extract data.
