Junior credit risk officer

New 01 December Canton de Vaud, Lausanne Perm

Our client is an important commodity trading company worldwide.

- Preparing credit reports and grading applications in order to obtain approval from credit department;
- Analysing customer financial data and other related market information;
- Monitoring customers' creditworthiness and periodically obtaining information of their financial status and
the industrial environment;
- Negotiating and discussing with other departments credit approval and controls;
- Developing SharePoint (an internal intranet) and ensuring that all credit files are saved to SharePoint.

Credit analysis

French & English

- The candidate will ideally have 2 to 3 years' experience of working as a corporate credit analyst within a
trading environment. However, we will consider candidates that have under 2 years of experience within a
financial and accounting role, and are willing to learn and be trained (experience can include internship
- Experience in credit, financial analysis and dealing with transactions;
- Knowledge of a trading business;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced and dynamic environment;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels and capable of interacting confidently, both internally and externally;
- Strong organisational skills and must be able to work under pressure;
- Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing;
- High level of attention to detail;
- A professional, proactive and organised approach to work;
- A positive and helpful attitude and the willingness to grow;
- Must possess sound IT skills, particularly MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Ideally educated to degree level in either Business, Accounting or Economics;
- Language skills in German would be an advantage.
