Senior credit analyst

New 01 December Canton de Vaud, Lausanne Perm

Our client is a globally recognised commodity trading company based in Lausanne; with offices worldwide they have been able to carve themselves a niche in the market, which has allowed them to grow from a family sized company to a globally recognised trading firm.

- Perform and maintain timely credit analysis of counter-parties. Perform industry analysis as needed. Deal/transaction reviews and understanding of trading structures, underwriting assumptions and business risks ;

- Actively participate and/or prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly credit and risk reports for use by Risk and Trade and Structured Finance Management ;

- Understand current credit and risk assessment tools, risk measurement and rating methodologies, including their underlying assumptions and potential weaknesses. Challenge assumptions used in the application of the credit and risk methodologies based on understanding of the Trade and Structured Finance Business ;

- In this critical role you will be working very closely with the worldwide credit manager. This is an opportunity to learn from one of the best in the market and develop your existing skill-set.

An experienced Credit Analyst required for growing Trading company.

Medium sized trading company requires Mandarin/ Canton speaking credit analyst.

*Fluency in Chinese and English
*Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
*Minimum of 5 years of credit analysis experience
*Experience working within a high pressure environment
*Strong work ethic with a high career ambition
*Ability to travel internationally
