Sr internal auditor

Our client is the international company with global Headquarters in Geneva area.

Reporting directly to the Head of Internal Audit, the Sr Internal Auditor will contribute actively to maintaining a strong risk management within the group, based on a solid risk assessment and an effective internal audit function in response to those risks.

He/She will be also involved in different projects with focus on process and performance improvements.

Main Responsibilities:

Assist the Head of Internal Audit in the preparation of the Internal Audit plan which sets out the scope and objectives of the audit assignments. Identify key risks and challenges.

In collaboration with all business areas required, especially Finance teams, and wtih external auditors, conduct and execute different audit assignments (financial process, operational process, fraud,?) within the subsidiaries (sales entities, production sites and HQ) :

- Gather, analyze and interpret business and financial data,

- Organize meetings and conduct interviews with auditees,

- Perform test of controls and thorough audits of financial and accounting data,

- Identify audit findings and recommendations,

- Discuss audit findings and recommendations with auditees,

- Complete internal audit report, to Internal Audit quality standards,

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the activities of the Internal Audit Department and its efficiency.

Contribute to process improvement across the company, through initiatives and projects aiming at improving lnternal control and operations.

Medium-sized group with global HQ in Switzerland

Excellent opportunity to grow within an international group

- Master degree in Finance, Audit or Risk Management,

- Minimum 4 years' experience in internal audit or in external audit, ideally in a Big 4 company,

- Professional qualification e.g. CIA, ACCA, CPA, « Diplôme Fédéral d'Expert-comptable »,

- Languages: French and English (fluent), any other language would be an advantage,

- Sharp understanding of business and control environments,

- Self-starter, ability to work independently on assignments,

- Excellent communication skills,

- Reliable, pragmatic and hands-on person.
