Our client is a growing SME with a global presence active in the travel and leisure industry

Develop tax efficient operating structures, strategies and implement global tax planning initiatives
Monitor local country tax compliance processes (filings, payments, assessments, etc.) to ensure compliance with local legislation and company policies
Take ownership of corporate income tax audits for designated countries and assist as necessary in VAT, M&A, and reorganisation matters
Manage Transfer Pricing policies and procedures, review Source P&Ls and Transfer Pricing documentation for designated countries
Review and advice tax provisions, including applicable income tax reserve and valuation allowance positions, of each legal entity on a quarterly basis
Review the annual Provision-to-Return and True-Up analysis for each legal entity and comply with annual reporting disclosure requirements
Update tax planning models to forecast the utilisation of tax attributes and changes in tax positions
Advice on the most efficient tax structure and legal entity set up for the new projects
Leading external tax audits, being key point of contact with tax authorities

Act as Head of Tax with a global scope reporting to Group CFO

Growing SME with HQ in the greater area of Zurich

Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Swiss Certified Tax Advisor would be a strong asset
8 - 10 years of experience in a similar position within a multinational or international tax advisory company
Big 4 experience in tax department is an advantage
Experience in international company with TP and multiple tax jurisdictions
Strong technical knowledge in Swiss and international tax
Good knowledge of the IAS 12 accounting standard
Willingness to cover broad area of expertise in tax
Strong analytical skills combined with a hands-on attitude
Capable of communicating and working in interdisciplinary teams
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Working independently to prepare, analyses and report financial information on a timely and high-quality manner
Excellent written and spoken English, German is a strong plus.
