Prepare and deliver all financial information related with plant performance, including standard costs and hourly rate, cost improvementsImplement a financial manual and SOPs in relation with manufacturing activitiesMaterial cost analysis and tracking as well as asset management and asset transferForecasting, budget planning, and variance analysis for P&L and B / S accounts of the plantEnsure to deliver right data and closely cooperate with legal entity controller for statutory earnings statementPerform cost center control, including cost center accounting, cost accounting, cost savings review and trackingTrack and report KPI's (balanced score card) and permanent financial analysis with corrective actions initiated and follow-upProvide service and support in terms of analysis and numbers for all the departments and all reasonable needs, e.g. conversion cost, productivityEnsure the SOX and Policy Standards and be first contact for the Audits (external and internal)Fulfil special tasks, e.g. provide analysis of financial impact of decisions making in the plant, make or buy decision support, or post calculationMonitor all financial aspects related to Partners (CMO's, Business Development activities, Geographical expansion projects, ?)Coach the departments and the management team in terms of financial issues, the forecasts and budget process, and be first contact point for financial issuesProvide analysis and information to the local plant team to drive progress and improvements in all areasAnalyze of site and asset performance, asset capacity and utilizationBuild monthly site reporting package incl. forecast and trend analysisEnsure site's financial compliance in all aspectsInvestment calculations and ad-hoc analyses for decision supportDrive continuous business improvements in close collaboration with key business stakeholders from manufacturing operations and Business UnitsAssist in production activity control to meet business and financial objectivesWork with Managers to plan and manage production tasks to improve runtimeReview production plans to identify and report potential risks to ManagerDevelop inventory control techniques to avoid shortages and excessesAssist Managers in controlling production costs while maintaining the quality standardsBe the key partner for commercial activities for both small and large molecules including CoGs calculation, tracking, change drivers, Definition and monitoring of key metrics for commercial activities, Business case preparation and analysis, Inventory and write-off tracking and reporting, CAPEX business case preparation supportMaintain and update status reports assuring brief alignment of all teamsEnsure clear communication between stakeholdersContribute positively to a strong culture of business integrity and ethicsAct within compliance and legal requirements as well as within company guidelines

Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or a related field10+ years of Manufacturing Financial Controlling experienceStrong understanding and experience of controlling preferably within the Life Science IndustryStrong communication skills (across all organizational levels), goal & solution oriented, proactive, pragmatic and able to work independentlyContent driven, able to prioritize multiple demands and lead defined work to successful conclusion on timeExperience in systems such as SAP, BW, Hyperion, Oracle is a plus.International exchange and project support may require occasional travelApplied knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, financial reporting and Corporate income taxStrong Excel skillsStrong analytic and problem solving skillsFluent in English and another European language (preferably French)Proven executive engagement skills with an ability to establish strong relationships with business decision makers
